Yellow is a happy color
Quick Interview with Christine
Q: What’s your name?
A: My mother named me “Christine” but intended for it to be pronounced “Christina”. I grew up a tom boy and was referred to as “Chris”. In high school I thought I’d sound flirty by going by “Christy”. To most of my friends, I’m a friendly “Christie”. But when I started my business I regressed to “Christine”…I guess I thought it was the way to go. Now, I just go by anything…some just get confused and say “you” or “lady”. ![]()
Q: What’s your favorite season?
A: Autumn. Or more preferably called “hoodie weather”. When the air is crisp, the temperature outside hoovers around 65 degrees, and there are tons of amazing warm colors bursting all around. …oh, and that’s also the time of year the kiddos go back to school.
hahaha
Q: What’s your favorite lens to shoot with?
A: Canon 35mm f/1.4 L lens
Q: Do you have other artistic abilities besides photography?
A: Oh yes. I can draw a mean stick figure. In junior high, I was the newspaper cartoonist. Although my cartoons were very basic in design, they always had a good punchline.
Q: Besides photography equipment, what else do you like to spend money on?
A: LIKE to spend money on? or HAVE to spend money on? We’re homeowners. Need I say more? hahaha Other than an occasional new roof or water heater, I’m pretty simple in shopping. I’ve never been interested in having a fancy car, or expensive jewelry, but would rather save up and travel. Getting to experience something and somewhere new with Matt and/or the kids is always going to be important to me.
Q: Favorite genre of movies?
A: Comedies. Always. If we go to the theater and see a comedy, Matt has already been train to remain seated into the rolling credits at the end in case there is bloopers (my favorite part). I feel cheated when I purchase a comedy on DVD to take home and find out there is no gag reel.
Q: Favorite day of the week?
A: Tuesday.
Q: How many weddings had you attended as a guest?
A: Would none be an accurate answer? yes. none.
Q: What were your thoughts the first time you met Matt (aka: hubby)?
A: I thought he was a snotty college jock. hahaha Little did I know he was just a super shy and massively large 14-year-old. Yes, that’s right. FOURTEEN! I swear, he looked at least 18…stood 6’2″, weighing 225lbs (football player). I also thought he could possibly be a total computer nerd when he came over to have my stepdad fix his computer. And don’t even get me started on our first date….never have I talked so much to someone who said so little before in my life. He did have a way about him though, and I eventually realized that he was my other half.
