Church of Latter-Day Saints | Wedding | Jaela + Josh

Jaela & Josh drove all the way from Oklahoma to get married at one of the most beautiful churches in Kansas City, the Church of the Latter-Day Saints.

They drove in the day before their wedding so we could do a quick portrait session.  Of course, we can’t control our crazy midwest weather…so we basically had to roll the dice and hope that the massive thunder storm would happen to miss the church area.  And we got mostly lucky…when we arrived, we decided to be quick.

While we were busy taking gorgeous pictures, we had to face this little storm that appeared to be heading right towards us.

After I said good-bye so they could rest up before their wedding, I noticed a little bit  lightning activity…so I decided to try my patience at capturing some.  Let’s just say, it took a lot of patience, because it wasn’t a super active lightning storm….but I did manage to get this one.  YEAH!  SUCCESS!

WEDDING DAY!!!!  The moment they walk out of the church…as husband and wife!

This was funny…Jaela had a little stronger toss than expected….so brother stepped in and intercepted.  HAHAHA
