Abigail & Cameron at ONE month!!!

I got my baby-fix again! Remember the beautiful newborn cousin’s from last month…well here they are already one month old. They have already grown sooooo much.

This is probably my absolute favorite picture from my visit with them.

“What happens in Mexico, ends up in Kansas City” ~Karen Koehn

I love this Snuggle picture. I call it “Laundry Day”. I realize it’s probably been done before a million times by other photographers, but it’s one of those things that will always be cute.
Ok…so she’s not exactly an elegant ballerina…yet, anyway.
This is a true male…his only desire is to lay around and sleep. Karen & Kristin described them perfectly at this age as “Sloths”.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Keehart

“Playful” is the word that comes to mind to best describe this wedding. This is John (on left/AKA:Groom), Scott (middle), and James (right)…and what a more appropriate room for the groomsmen than the nursery. It’s all fun and games until a groomsmen gets stuck in a tunnel. 🙂

Take notice of the small white dot in the middle of this picture. That is a snowball…launched by the groom at his father. Isn’t that nice.
They really filled up the joint.
Attack of the Bridesmaids!!!
I LOVE THIS ONE!
My mom’s a big fan of MerryMooMoos…she’s gonna love this topper.
There just aren’t enough weddings that do this anymore. I live for the cake-smashing!
Beautiful Bouquet Bling.
WOW! I don’t know if it was some kind of super-bubble-formula
or professional bubble-blowers…because this was amazing!
John really was snowball happy. Poor Girl. Krista became his next victim.
This was the perfect wedding to start off my Spring wedding season. The whole day was so much fun and the characters were definitely entertaining. Thank you John & Krista. More fun to come!

The Hayes Family…plus one on the way.

Travis and I have been friends since I was 12 years old. He was the brother type that was always there for me…and would occasionally use a rope to hang me by my feet from a tree. 🙂 A few years ago he met & married the perfect girl, Holly, and has since started a beautiful family. I haven’t seen Dylan in almost a year and he has just become the cutest tike! Holly is just a couple weeks away from giving Dylan a little sister. Let’s just keep the rope hidden in the future.
This is Holly’s attempt to keep a straight face while trying to fulfill my ridiculous requests for posing. Holly’s got an infectious laugh…we didn’t get too many serious pictures. 🙂
I love this picture, although…I must say, Holly appears to have a fake belly. No pregnant belly looks that perfect, especially the second time around. That girl doesn’t have one stretch mark. And to think when she was pregnant with Dylan, I had to do some major coxing for her to let me photograph her bare belly.
This was my second photo session today, each carrying their own set of obstacles. I opened my door to find them soaked by rain and Travis injured.
My home is…what’s a nice way to put this…Unique. My concrete steps leading to my front door must have been constructed by someone either inexperienced or very intoxicated. With the down pour, Travis ran carrying Dylan to the house and didn’t see that one of our steps is about twice the height as the other steps. In an effort to save Dylan, he sacrificed himself. 🙂 He walked into my house with a large hole in his nice jeans and blood trickling down his leg. Hey! Anything for a picture, right!
Holly is two weeks away from her due date and as they were leaving, she thinks she had a contraction. So, I might be sharing some more newborn pictures very soon!

Natalynn is Two Years Old!

Ok, today however warm it was….was way toooo windy. My gosh! I thought this was an appropriate blooper of Natalynn & her hair tackling the extreme gusts of wind.
Natalynn’s parents might say she runs the show, and I would have to agree…but mostly she just plain RUNS. That girl is going to be an Olympic track runner someday, guaranteed!

“Property of Judy” (AKA: Don), told me this was a rare wood duck. I know absolutely nada about ducks and when he first told me there was a wood duck in the pond, I thought “Well that’s silly. Why would they put a fake wooden duck in this pond when there are already a ton of real ones?” So…now knowing what a wood duck is, here’s a picture of it.
I love the little town setup they have at this park.
Lacy & Tyler…thanks for not giving up on our session today. Three parks, a little extra driving, scrapped knees, and tornado winds…we still got some awesome pictures. Thank you!

Fun With Aunt Lissa!

Mondays at my house should be called, “Melissa Mondays”. Melissa is my best bud and Mondays are her days off. She comes over EVERY Monday, early or late, so that we can all watch “The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. This past Monday she came over early so that we could break out the camera and take some new pictures. She is very close to my two kids, especially Niki, so I took alot of them being their normal goofy selves.

This is Niki stealing some of Aunt Lissa’s fashionable style.

At my house, when we are frustrated with each other…we like to squish heads (perspectively speaking). This is Niki holding her pinching fingers up to her eye so that she can squish my head.
She sure doesn’t look like my little baby anymore.
And of course, I took some of Melissa by herself. Isn’t she cute?
(Hey Guys! She’s single right now!)
…and I will probably take a punch from her once she reads this. Did I mention she’s strong too?

She definitely has a pair of the most amazing eyes I’ve ever seen.
