This family. My heart. So full.
Lacy is the official scorekeeper, but I think this makes the 24th time I’ve photographed her and her loved ones. I believe this makes 11 years of being her family photographer and friend. I first met and photographed her when her oldest daughter will in her tummy. I feel like there is no greater honor to a photographer than to know you have connected with your clients, built a relationship, have your work valued, and to continue to be chosen to be a part of their life over and over again. I’m feeling a little sappy today posting this session…but I truly love love love this family….and I love the images of their sweet happy faces.

One of my favorite things about the current generations is Dads. I don’t know if I’m just getting old or remembering it different, but it just seems like Dads today have really stepped up their game on being involved with their kids and adding to their list of duties. Take for instance Jason…observe his improvised hair styling skills for his daughter. ….and then, check out his finished work of art….and then, check out Laura fixing his work of art. HAHA Hey…mad props to all Dads who at least put forth the effort. Jason styled Harlow’s hair better than I style my own most days. .jpg)

Guiltily…this was my favorite part of the session. Anyone who has experienced this Glass Maze might know why.
Good Advice.
If you have been to the Nelson and stopped by this interactive experience…this is pretty much how you have to walk through it. Are we terrible people that we could not stop laughing because Harlow would smack face-first into the glass? Maybe…but it was hella funny..jpg)

I’m pretty sure I’ve said it more than once somewhere for the world to read on social media or an old blog post…but Laura is just infectious. Her smile. Her laugh. When I grow up, I want to be Laura. 🙂
