So we’re entering the Halloween season, and while I was picking through the Hengler’s awesome Fall 2013 session, picking out some great ones to share on the blog…I noticed this “test” shot and thought “…I bet that would look creepy black n white”. HAHA But rest assured, this super handsome boy is far from creepy…he’s positively warm and friendly…as shown in following picture.

And he’s got the best parents a kid could have! Any one who knows Kevin, Trisha, and little Crosby, know that to be true. One of the most beautiful things a parent can do for their child is to give them lots of attention and just play with them.

The Hengler’s, like my family, share their love of unique family Christmas cards…imagine at least once a year receiving a card from someone you know and adore, opening it, and seeing a fabulous image that visually explains how that family’s year has been. Almost like a snapshot description of their lives as of right now. So…we took Trish: Love of books, even greater love of her bookclub amigas (myself included…they haven’t kicked me out yet, even when I haven’t finished the book in time! Love those ladies!), love of good wine, and lookin’ fancy. Cros: Well, he’s a superhero out patrolling the night for bad guys, kickin’ ass & taking names….oh, and he’s really into trucks and hotwheels. 🙂

Kevin: Growing out a SWEEEEEET stash, went through a whole lifestyle change with the introduction of CrossFit, and has in turn, become one BAMF. His journey has been pretty incredible to watch…in fact, if you are looking for a lifestyle change, I highly recommend checking out Iron Tribe Fitness in Overland Park that Kevin’s opening…you have to experience it to really understand how it can change your life.

These two ladies….there aren’t words. I love and admire them to pieces. Mostly because they are incredible characters…and partly because they don’t scare easy…like when a crazy photographer at a bridal show {me} nearly attacks them and basically forces them to hire me. I’m so very glad they saw past any outward signs of creepy, and allowed me into their lives. We had a great engagement session in the wonderful land of KU….which is where they met and a place that they still hold dear to their hearts.

This might be one of my favorite pictures of all time…like ever. Thank you mother nature for the gust of wind that made this capture even more magical.

Spoiler alert…she said “yes!” hehehe

Of the many many things I adore about this couple….their humor is #1. We went to the top of the Oread Hotel to get some neat vantage points….but it was just a TAD windy. Made for quite the hilarious captures.

“I love you more than Chipotle,” said Sarah to Katelyn. Anyone who knows Sarah, knows this is HUGE.

“I love you both more than Chipotle,” said me. 🙂

A wedding day to remember.

…the REAL star of the day. 😉

So…A/C going out in the room…and a zipper breaking in a dress….ain’t nuttin’ but a thang. This crew can handle any curve ball.

I’d like to take a moment and say… I’m officially obsessed with blue suits now. Super stylish!

This has to be one of THE most CRAZY AWESOME TROLLY RIDES I’ve ever seen.

This guy saw we were having a hard time getting a city street portrait because of the spaced out cars driving through…so what did he do?

THIS!!!! Like I said…CRAZY AWESOME!

But we still hustled…

And this goes into Hall of Fame Wedding Day Spontaneous Moments….a Tribute to the movie “Bridesmaids”

Right after I snapped the photo on the left, our Trolly had some turbulence, causing Levi to go flying backwards towards the door…I snapped it just before my ninja fast teammate, Mike, reached out and grabbed him, while still holding onto his camera gear. That’s why I like to call him Magic Mike (the clean version).
