Oh photogoodness! I do love me some Bobby & Sam.
I knew from the day we met there would be fun involved, but they surpassed my expectations 10 fold.
And as if the session wasn’t already amazing, Jordan Berry of Berry Good Video, was there to help capture and play.

I said “give me serious”…and he did, if only for a moment. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!.gif)
And the other members of their family joined in on the fun, too. Meet Eli.

So, Bobby spots a tree that he thinks he can climb…does so…and then I think it might be neat for them both to get in it. It was a FAIL…but the entertainment of Sam trying was too good to pass up some video coverage for. I apologize for the shaky hand-holding recording, I was unable to contain the giggles. HAHAHAHA
Bobby, through blood and sweat, was able to make it up into the tree and thus this shot was born. There was a series of pictures from this point in the session that makes me smile ear to ear…but this was the first and favorite of them all.
Where there’s storms before and after…there’s usually delicious dramatic skies like this one. Perfecto!
Did I mention that they are AMAZING kissers!!!!!!!! Oh I cannot wait for their wedding day!
The rain cut our session in half, as we had more ideas in store for them…so Part 2 shall be in the near future.

This is the typical Moffit scene out in Eudora. Love the variety of rides. .jpg)
Someone stole Phill’s candle-blowing wishes…shame shame I know your name…

I may have appeared slightly creepy…I basically kept my eye on this guy the whole day…mesmerized by his beard and all the photo goodness I could do if only I got 5 minutes. Luckily, I worked up the courage at the end of day to invite him into the bathroom with me and two of my good friends (580exIIs). Quick light on the fly. I’m in love with this shot. .jpg)
In an amazing turn of weather for our area, Friday night’s rain storm had made for very very pleasant Saturday morning racing weather. This was the scene at Warrior Dash, KC 2011 on Saturday, July 3oth at 8:55am..jpg)
And this was at 9am. I spent 20 minutes attempting to find Krysia among the crowd and only finally caught a glimpse of her as she ran past at the 9am sweep..jpg)

It was amazing how many people attended. I found these two cool crazies twice (before and after). This is Logan’s mother and boyfriend (from the recent Mexico Destination Wedding). Small world!
This was the scene at 10:30am.
I was so proud of Krysia…she finished 2nd in her age division and received this badass trophy. Had to share..jpg)
Next year baby! LOOK OUT!
Let’s talk about Wednesday Workshops, shall we…. In July, I was asked to join some of the top local wedding photographers to speak about the important details regarding photography. I can not describe to you just how informative it was. I, personally, am long-winded and could talk hours upon end at consultations (and maybe some of my lovely past Brides who still peak at my blog occasionally can confirm, haha) about all the details about the photography process. This particular Wednesday Workshop was split up among 5 pros (

This last image I post because I personally find it extremely amusing. Upon viewing Mila’s closet, it occurred to me that Mila and I already have a lot in common. A closet full of close, but only a small portion fit. She’s only fitting into 0-3 months. Her excuse is better than mine. 😉.gif)
