Tuckness Family back for more!

I still find it hard to believe sometimes that I’ve been photographing Natalynn since she was inside her mama’s tummy. 🙂 It is never a dull session. We had so much fun in and around their small town of Eudora.

New Baby Connor!

WHAT a perfect November day for a baby session!!!! Connor is about 4 weeks old and so handsome….and we even got to go outside and introduce him to some beautiful sunshine as well as get up close and personal in his home.

This first one I want to show off has an awesome green blanket… I wish I had taken the shot right before we decided to use the green over the blue one…hahaha! Daddy learned by experience that little baby boys have a built-in-defense mechanism when they are naked. Let’s just say, Daddy had to change clothes. IT was hilarious! Always an adventure.

Carrie & James, thank you so much for choosing me to be your first family photographer!
I think it’s safe to say neither of us will forget this session…or the laundry cleanup. 🙂

Voted Most Unique Booth by Coordinately Yours!

How cool is this?!!! Julie Blanner is a super-talented wedding planner and owner of Coordinately Yours here in the Kansas City area who happened to come out to the big Perfect Wedding Guide (PWG) Bridal Show last Sunday at the Overland Park Convention Center. In a blur of a memory, I remember seeing her and saying hi, but had no idea that she had a chance to poke around my booth. I’m thrilled that she did and loved what she saw….thus giving me her vote of “most unique booth” at the show. She even calls it “Funtography“, which I would have to say is very fitting. 🙂

BTW, if you are in the stages of planning your wedding and need someone full of inspiration and trustworth of helping your wedding day go off without a hitch, I highly suggest you clicking on over to www.coordinatelyyours.com and giving Julie a call. She professionally plans all kinds of events (small to GINORMOUS) and I hear she’s the best. And even if you aren’t planning a wedding, check out her newsletter…she’s always got fabulous and creative ideas to share.

Perfect Wedding Guide’s Bridal Expo, over and done…

Yesterday, as many know, was the Perfect Wedding Guide’s Fall Bridal Expo at the Overland Park Convention Center. If you don’t know what that is…basically it’s some of the best vendors that Kansas City has to offer who show off their business to around over 3000 people all in one day. This is the wedding mother-load of information!!! As a vendor myself…it’s brutal hours and effort of preparation and setup…but well worth it. Here’s some very quick shots of the set up.

To give Brides a little something extra, I came up with a functional and eco-friendly promotional item. It was a bit hit!!! So much so, that I had a very long line and ended up running out of bags around 4p. Ek! Note to self: More bags and two setups next time. 🙂
